Q: When are you open and when do you deliver?

A: We are are open from Tuesday - Saturdays for orders and deliveries so please keep this in mind when looking at dates for delivery. We also have an availability calendar on the contacts page so you can check available dates in advance.

Weekday deliveries are delivered either between 8.00-9.00am or after 4.00-5.30pm, if you require an alternative time to those mentioned please let us know.

Weekend deliveries are from 9.00 am - 16.00

There are be no deliveries on the Tuesday after a bank holiday, Sundays or Mondays as Mondays is our main admin day.

For corporate orders please contact direct regarding delivery times.

 

Q:  How do i order a Cupcake flavour box

A:  First please  check the date availability calendar on the contacts us page

Cupcakes are made fresh to order so 3 days minimum notice is required

Decide on how many flavours you would like per box.(cupcakes are only available in multiples of 12) 

complete the form on the contact us page regarding your requirements and then you will then receive an email confirming your order

along with an invoice for payment 

Once paid  your order is confirmed. Your cupcakes will then be delivered on the date and time specified.

 

Q: How much notice do i need to give to order a celebration cake?

A:   3 weeks notice is the order turnaround time for celebration cakes, We have a weekly order cap and we can sometimes accommodate orders with 2 weeks notice but this is not guaranteed and very much dependent on current orders booked which take priority. Our main admin day is a Monday so please factor in adequate time for us to prepare your quote so we can meet your cake delivery day.

Tue-Fri we are busy baking so admin time is very limited

So to avoid disappointment please book your cakes way in advance as possible of your chosen delivery date.

 

Q: Can you deliver or do I need to collect my cake?

A:  We know customers can be time poor and it is part of our service is to deliver your cakes to save you time so when completing the query form on the contact page please include a delivery address and post code , a delivery charge may be applicable if outside of the free delivery zone.

 

Q:  Is there a delivery charge?

A:  Within and up to a 5 mile radius of B45 is our free delivery zone, outside of the free delivery zone there is a £3.50 delivery charge for journeys up to 10 miles. Over 10 miles there will be a £3.50 delivery charge plus 50p for each additional mile

 

Q: Do I have to order the celebration cakes on the websites?

A: All the cake pictures of celebration cakes are previous commissions and you can either order the same design or if you have an idea or theme in mind we can make your design more bespoke. You can create your own cake by selecting your design elements by completing the form on the contacts us page. If you have a picture of a cake you would like to replicate please be advised that the design will be tweaked as we DO NOT copy other cake makers work or designs without permission granted.

 

Q:  How much are the cakes?

A: The prices for the mixed cupcake boxes are listed on the cupcake page, if you require a price for a cake on the website or you require a bespoke design please contact for a quote. There is a minimum order value of £80.00 for bespoke celebration cakes.  Ready to order cakes are also available with a set price and no customisation.

.Q: What is in the cake quote

A: After I have obtained some initial information from you we will prepare your quote.

Based on your theme you will get three options based on 3 different price bands, this is so you have the flexibility of a cake size and design that suits your budget.

This will be emailed to you for you to check details and add any other information.

If you decide to go ahead with your order a small deposit is required to reserve your order when your deposit is paid and your order form is returned this then acts as your order confirmation,

The balance is then required 3 working days before delivery (paying electronically)

 Payment details are included within the quote.

 

Q:  How long do the cakes last?

A:  All cakes and cupcakes are made fresh to order and do not contain any additives to prolong shelf life, so cupcakes are best consumed within  2-3 days from date of delivery and celebration cakes 5 days from date of delivery. All cakes and cupcakes delivered come with a cake care card.

 

Q:  How do I store a cake?

A: With cupcakes they are an ambient product so just keep in the box in a cool place as their is no need to refrigerate as this can actually dry out your cakes. With celebration cakes same rules apply, just keep cool and when cut keep the cut sides covered with a little cling film or foil to prevent the cake drying out and store in the original box it was delivered in. If its a buttercream or ganache cake and it is a particular hot day you can keep your cake in the fridge but please remove approx. one hour before cutting to allow the cake to return to room temperature before cutting.

 

Q: Do you bake for specific dietary requirements? and do you use nuts in your baking?

A: We do bake vegan/egg-less cakes, however the kitchen is NOT a nut free kitchen so we no longer accept orders for cakes where customers have nut allergies or require gluten free

Every order is delivered with an allergen information card but also it is the responsibility of the customer to inform at time of ordering any specific allergies or intolerances.

Q: Can you do wedding favours?

A:  Depending on your requirements individual labelled and boxed cupcakes designed to your brief can be provided, if interested in cupcake wedding favours please let me know when booking a wedding consultation so this can be included in your quote.

Q. Do you make tiered wedding cakes?

A. Early 2020 l decided that l was no longer going to bake, actively promote or supply tiered wedding cakes (for various reasons) and instead focus on our niche of cupcake towers for weddings. These can be flavour towers or more bespoke stylised towers. If you have an requirement for a cupcake tower for your wedding please complete the contacts form.

 

Q: Do you do make cake tables for weddings ?

A:  For evening guest there are a number of options available from layer cakes, Cupcakes etc.. please enquirer for details.

 

Q: Can I order cupcake towers for a wedding and can we mix a wedding cupcake tower with different flavours?

A: Absolutely, have a look at the list of flavours on the cupcake page to create your own flavoured cupcake tower, or if your fave flavours that are not listed we can create your flavours for you.

Q. Do you supply cake samples

A. For weddings yes we do which are chargeable and will be in the form of cupcakes,

Q:  Can you provide corporate orders

A:  Yes we can in the form of either cupcakes or cakes, Branded cupcakes are £3.50 for a branded printed topper. If your toppers are more bespoke i.e colour matching they will be £3.90 each. If you require a whole cakes please contact me for details.

 

Q:  Can you print a company logo onto a toppers for cupcakes

A: Yes your logo can be printed onto edible icing sheets to make toppers for cupcakes what ever your requirement are please feel free to get in touch to discuss.
