My name is Yvonne aka the Kake lady aka chef (nickname) and thank you for visiting my website for my business Kake and Cupkakery.

I come from a hospitality background and trained and worked as a chef/head chef in and around Birmingham and the west midlands but patisserie was always my first love, put a piping bag in my hand and i am happy.

 I am a dab hand in the kitchen in general but for me all roads lead to cake.

​

Like many cake bakers i started off as a hobbyist, practising and honing my craft while training to to be a chef, it all seemed really natural to me.

So after baking cake after cake for friends and family and being recommended to friends of friends i decided  to turn my passion into a business and here i am.

Since 2011 my little biz has grown from where it started from and the cake journey continues. I love trying new flavours (that's my thing) but basically i truly love what i do and hope it shows
